KCESD  5

The Kaufman County ESD 5 was established in 1997 by a district-wide vote.  The Kaufman County ESD 5 Commissioners are appointed by the Kaufman County Commissioners Court.

The Mission

of Kaufman County ESD 5 is to be the leading emergency service district by meeting the needs of our community in fire prevention, fire suppression, rescue operations, and emergency medical response in the most cost effective manner possible.

The Vision 

of Kaufman County ESD 5 is to utilize and improve the skills and dedication of our staff and volunteers and to constantly improve operations and services for the citizens of Kaufman county.

Our Values:

• Promote teamwork and support our staff with adequate resources to attain superior performance,
• Meet and/or exceed local, state, and federal emergency service agency standards,
